I have a degree in Electronics Engineering from the National University of La Plata (http://www.unlp.edu.ar/) and I have been working as an independent software engineering consultant for more than 10 years.
My main area of interest is the design and development of software for robotics applications.
Modern software development techniques and tools provide a powerful infrastructure for simulation and control of robots. But in the last years, they have become too complex for most people to learn, even for programmers. Most roboticists come from other professional disciplines with basic programming skills, making it difficult for them to deal with such complexity.
On the other hand, most professional programmers develop ‘enterprise’ applications and don’t have the knowledge required for the different aspects and technologies involved in robotics (physical variables, control theory, sensors, actuators, etc.).
My goal is to offer consulting services through MobotSoft to provide custom software solutions for robotics professionals so that they can focus on their specific areas of interest, from hardware design to AI algorithms.
